LEXINGTON, KY (July 1, 2025) –– Morning Pointe Foundation’s Seniors Got Talent showcase returns for its 6th annual performance at the Lexington Opera House on Tuesday, September 9, 2025, celebrating the performing talents of local seniors age 60+. A variety of acts will grace the stage to sing, dance, play instruments, and more—all for a chance to win the $1,000 grand prize. Proceeds from ticket sales go directly to the Morning Pointe Foundation, a nonprofit that funds clinical scholarships and supports caregiver educational programs.
Just ask 70-year-old belly dancer Sandy Larson, who first wowed the crowd at Seniors Got Talent with her spirited performance, earning second place and stealing hearts. Today, she’s gaining national attention, proving that the Seniors Got Talent stage can be just the beginning. Now, other talented seniors ages 60+ have their shot to shine. In-person auditions are coming up Monday, July 14 – Tuesday, July 22, with locations stretching from Louisville to Richmond. Whether you’re a singer, dancer, musician, or have a one-of-a-kind talent, this could be your moment to take center stage—and maybe even follow in Larson’s footsteps toward something bigger.
“Each year, our Lexington Seniors Got Talent show just gets better and better, and the seniors really bring out all the stops,” said Miranda Perez, Morning Pointe Foundation executive director. “We love that not only are we raising funds for the Foundation to help students in the area pursue their education, but we are giving seniors a chance to show that age is just a number.”
Tickets are available now at Ticketmaster.com, LexingtonOperaHouse.com, or in person at the Central Bank Center Box Office from 12-4 P.M. on Wednesdays and Fridays. For more information, please visit MorningPointeFoundation.com.
