Cincinnati, OH (10/17/25) – Comedian, Actor, Writer, and Australian native Jim Jefferies has announced the expansion of his Son of a Carpenter Tour, with 20 added dates across the U.S. coming in 2026. The tour originally launched in 2025, and will visit Cincinnati, OH at Taft Theatre on Friday, February 13.
Tickets will go on sale to the public beginning at 10am on Friday, October 24 at Ticketmaster.com. Tickets will also be available at The Taft Theatre box office during normal business hours.
The Son of a Carpenter Tour blends the observational humor of Jim’s upbringing from his father’s profession in carpentry to his no-topic-off-limits take on the modern world. This hilarious and perfectly honest tour is not one to miss!
ABOUT JIM JEFFERIES
Comedian/Actor/Writer and Australia native Jim Jefferies is one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, entertaining audiences across the globe with his provocative, belief-challenging, and thought-provoking comedy.
The comedian has released a total of ten stand-up specials since Contraband in 2008, including his most recent 2025 special Two Limb Policy on Netflix, his 6th special for the streaming service. In the special, Jefferies unleashes his thoughts on tiny mustaches, straight-guy struggles and why acting doesn’t count as a real job.
Jefferies has also appeared and starred in films and TV including the comedy series Legit which he co-wrote, executive produced and starred for FX. Jim hosted and co-created the popular Comedy Central series, The Jim Jefferies Show which ran 3 seasons from 2017-2019. In 2019, Jim was honored as Stand-Up Comedian of the Year at the Just for Laughs Festival.
Currently, he can be seen hosting FOX’s reality show, The Snake, where contestants must use their training, charm, and powers of persuasion as they face fear-inducing challenges designed to showcase their true colors.
