Dolly Parton has teamed up with Lainey Wilson, Miley Cyrus, Queen Latifah, and Reba McEntire for a new version of her classic hit, “Light of a Clear Blue Morning,” which marks the 50th anniversary of Dolly writing the song.

Originally written and recorded 50 years ago in 1976,  “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” has long been considered one of Parton’s most inspirational songs. An Instagram post from Parton announcing the remake reads: “My new recording and music video for “Light of a Clear Blue Morning” featuring @laineywilson, @mileycyrus, @queenlatifah and @reba is out now. I hope this song brings you lots of love & light. All net proceeds from this recording and music video will benefit pediatric cancer research at the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, TN.”

The music video for the remake – which was produced by Parton and Kent Wells and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge – features all of the ladies recording in the studio. The new rendition of Light of a Clear Blue Morning also features the legendary David Foster on piano, and backing vocals by The Christ Church Choir. See the video: HERE.
