Hometown : Lexington mostly… spent the early years growing up in Berea. I moved back to Lexington my sophomore year of high school and graduated from P.L.Dunbar! I went on to graduate from Georgetown College. Go Tigers!
Hobbies/Sports: I love doing anything with my kids! I have 3! Oldest 2 are in their 20’s and my youngest is a football player and over 6’1! So when they are all home with me we love to go out jeepin’ and find the back country roads! My favorite teams are the Bengals, Cincinnati Reds, ALL UK SPORTS (football, basketball, baseball, volleyball, tennis, hockey, softball, soccer….). I love wearing jerseys – so you will usually find me in a football, hockey, or baseball jersey!
Favorite Food/Drinks: Pizza. I love pizza! If I ever hit the lottery, I am going to try and eat fancier food like Crab Legs all the time! HA! My favorite drinks: Diet Coke, Ale-8, Sweet Tea, coffee with flavored creamer , and def LEMONADE!
Favorite Artist: My ALL TIME FAVORITE singer is Keith Whitley! I love Waylon, Merle, Don Williams, Kenny Rogers, George Strait and basically all the country stars from the 80’s & 90’s! I even love Chris Stapleton…He’s an ‘Old Soul’. I also LOVE rockin’ out to all the great hairbands from the 80’s – you should see me play my ‘air guitar’! HA!
Fav Vacation spot: ANYWHERE in the Caribbean, on a beach, with the sun overhead, and a frozen drink in my hand! BUT – my favorite way to vacation is on a cruise ship…cruisin’ the Caribbean!
Movies: My Fav is Gone With the Wind, all 80’s rom-coms, The Proposal, and as of the last few years, I LOVE all movies with Chris Hemsworth!
TV: I don’t watch much… but if I have time – I am a sucker for shows like SURVIVOR! I really wanna go on that show but I’m afraid they’ll make me eat a bug! I also kinda binge-watch Dateline & 20/20 too! People be crazy yall!
Family: I have 3 kids that I adore more than anything! I’m blessed that my parents live in the area so I get to spend a lot of time with them! I have also closed a few chapters in my life – and started over! And wouldn’t you know it – I DID IT! I finally found someone that treats me like a rockstar so my advice if you find yourself ‘starting over’ – give it to God! Pray about it and watch what happens! #Blessed Y’all!
