Lexington, KY (May 4, 2026) – Two of country music’s most enduring hitmakers, Sammy Kershaw and Neal McCoy, are set to take the stage at Gatton Park on Thursday, August 27, as part of the OVG Concert Series. This co-headlining show brings together decades of chart-topping hits, electrifying performances, and fan-favorite classics for one unforgettable night in the heart of downtown Lexington as part of a unique outdoor concert experience.
Sammy Kershaw, iconic entertainer who has built a legacy with three platinum and six gold albums and more than 100 million songs sold. Often referred to as the “heir apparent” to the legendary ‘voice’ George Jones, the GRAMMY nominated performer helped shape and make the ‘90s a shining decade for country music. His multi-platinum albums were propelled into the record books by hits such as “She Don’t Know She’s Beautiful,” “Queen of My Doublewide Trailer”, “I Can’t Reach Her Anymore,” “National Working Woman’s Holiday,” “Love Of My Life,” “Cadillac Style,” “Don’t Go Near The Water,” “Haunted Heart”, “Vidalia” and many other milestones.
In addition to performing to sell-out audiences, Sammy Kershaw continues to record and release new music with three albums currently in the works, along with putting the finishing touches on his long-awaited autobiography – which promises to be as juicy as a bowl of the gumbo he loves to prepare in his Louisiana home!
Joining him is Neal McCoy, a dynamic entertainer who broke through in 1993 with back-to-back No. 1 singles “No Doubt About It” and “Wink,” launching a career that includes multiple platinum and gold albums and numerous Top Ten hits including “Billy’s Got His Beer Goggles On.” A new studio album, XII, arrived in 2012, co-produced by Blake Shelton & Miranda Lambert. In 2013 he released Pride: A Tribute to Charley Pride, Neal’s longtime friend and mentor. 2015 brought the Big Band Standards CD You Don’t Know Me. 2017 brought Neal McCoy’s Favorite Hit’s, 10 Hits with 2 new songs.
Beyond the stage, Neal has been on 17 USO Tours around the world and continues to say it’s one of the achievements he’s most proud of. He is also the recipient of multiple Humanitarian awards from The Academy of Country Music, The Country Radio Broadcasters and The Masonic Grand Lodge. Neil also recites the Pledge of Allegiance live on his Facebook page every day and has for more than ten years without missing a day.
Together, Kershaw and McCoy represent the heart of classic country; bringing storytelling, authenticity, and timeless hits to the stage.
